I'm not a "natural" at anything, but have worked & practiced many hours to hone my skills. That dedication has led me to many teachers, looking for many different viewpoints & interpretations. That journey has made it possible for me to break things down into simpler tasks, thus helping my students build their confidence through small successes from the beginning. I found martial arts over 30 years ago as a result of being bullied myself through grade school & middle school. I found the confidence & ability to stand up to those bullies & fight back (if needed). If that's what you want for yourself or your child, I'm probably the right instructor for you.
